Garden Work Day & Plant Dig

Did you know fall is the best time to transplant perennial plants?

Come help Beatrice put her garden to bed for the fall, meet new garden friends, and enjoy the last of the fall weather. After working together to get some garden tasks done, you will have the chance to take home some of her many edible, decorative, and medicinal plants. This will also provide an opportunity to learn new gardening techniques and foster community connections.

I'd love to see you there!

Donations requested for digging plants (but not required)

Community Workday at Ruby Ranch

Come gather at the Ranch to help us work on some land-based projects, connect with other folks and enjoy a delicious shared meal. We will work on projects from 11am-2pm and then circle back around to eat food together. No previous skills needed! Children are welcome, but please leave your dogs at home.

Depending on the weather, one of these work days will focus on the propagation greenhouse. We offer this space to multiple growers as a sort of winter and spring propagation cooperative. Reach out if you’d like to grow with us!

Community Workday at Ruby Ranch

36 Kel County Rd. Candler NC

Help us prepare the ranch for spring!

We are still cleaning up debris from Helene and beautifying the farm, we need your help cleaning up our creeks and removing litter.

We also need help getting ready for spring planting and planning our space as we evolve into a permaculture demonstration site.

After a few hours of work, we will share a potluck lunch. And do tours and answer questions about the ranch.

All are welcome, no experience is necessary!

If you are able to bring a dish to pass that is great but if not, we still want you to come and join us!

Children are welcome, please leave your dogs at home
